Right on the office politics. My company is split about evenly between technical people and paper-pushers (this is not a pejorative, we do lots of legal and regulatory stuff and must produce lots of paper). The technical people are almost all laid-back and easygoing, male or female. The paper-pushers are now dominated by menopausal women who have been with the company 15-20 years and I have noticed a systematic pattern that the hottest women working for the company tend to end up fired. Furthermore, even ordinary flirting between a man and a woman who like each other results in reports to human resources by “3rd parties” about creating a sexually hostile work environment (the older women get jealous that the hot young ones are the ones getting flirted with). Honestly, you can’t even look at a woman’s butt wiggle as she walks away from you, even if you are not turning your head to do so.

I admire your self-restraint but I can’t see you resisting much longer. Although I do feel women are able to exert control over their hindbrain there are limits to this when two parties who find one another attractive are sharing the same bed and cuddling. Perhaps if you have the dog in there in the bed as well it acts as some kind of disincentive?
